LEGO Ideas King Kong 1933 - Support for a chance of King Kong becoming LEGO! By TwoLeggedAetosaur » Sep 29. Answer 1 of 15: We are keen to watch King Kong and are now checking Broadway Box, Playbill & TheaterMania to see if there are discount tickets for next week (Wed, Thursday or Fri). Wondering if there is any advice to best enjoy the show, like seating. King Kong (Peter Jackson, 2005) I know we have a few MoFos who don't especially care for the newest King Kong, but I'm a big fan of the film.Jackson found the right balance between crafting a loving homage to the 1933 original (his favorite film growing up) and retooling it for the CGI era. Mar 12, 2020 'King Kong' (1933) is the grand-daddy of them all and is still probably the best, though I liked the 2005 version a lot too. One thing with the 2005 version, I do agree with others in this thread that the beginning drags on a bit and could have been shortened-That and I have to add that Jack Black had was totally miscast, he should have never.

When asked what his favourite movie is, Senior Concept Artist Gus Hunter refers to the 1933 version of King Kong as one of them. 'I've always loved movies with dinosaurs and scary monsters', he says. 'I remember watching it as a kid, and it just blew me away.' Little did he know that one day he would be working as the senior concept artist on Peter Jackson's remake of the classic.

Gus joined the team during The Lord Of The Rings trilogy in 2000, in the Visual Effects Art Department, where he forged a relationship with Jackson and Weta. Gus has worked on concept art for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and was a Senior Concept Artist on King Kong from the very start (pre-production) to the very finish (post-production). It's time for Wellington to honour its home-town heroes says communications specialist Roger Ellis who is standing for the Wellington City Council in the Northern Ward. In recent years Wellington has produced some exceptional people. The whole world knows what Peter Jackson has almost single-handedly achieved - a major league movie industry right here in the suburbs of Wellington. He has received a theatre-load of awards from the good and the great throughout the world. 'Yet to date the Wellington City Council has done little to honour this outstanding favourite son.
